From 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 18 July, tune in, sit back and take in the best of our region when the award winning online music festival Isol-Aid shines the spotlight on Geelong and the Bellarine, the first regional centre in Australia to be showcased.
Isol-Aid was created in response to the coronavirus pandemic, when it became apparent that musicians would be heavily impacted, with the cancellation of tours and gigs and the inability to play venues throughout Australia.
Every weekend, musicians play a 20-minute set streamed live via their Instagram accounts. At the end of each set, musicians tag-team to the next artist on the line-up, sending fans down a rabbit hole of new music discovery, community and good feelings.
The Geelong and Bellarine event will feature eight local artists playing live at eight different venues across the region, all live streamed for music lovers to enjoy from home.
Isol-Aid proudly supports our musicians, helping to foster a sense of togetherness and community, the cornerstone of performing live.
We’re calling on you to livestream, listen, buy and donate whatever you can when Isol-Aid shines the spotlight on our town.
Grab your device, charger, snacks and water bottle, and we’ll see you at the festival.
The line-up will be announced midday on Friday 17th July.
