It’s been a pretty big week for Team Tourism. There’s been quite a bit of virtual office banter, with a few Tigers supporters amongst the Cats fans in our crew. It’s great to see the city decorated blue and white and some venues able to host COVID-safe functions at game time.
Whilst the festivities look different this year, we know the success of the Geelong Football Club can drive the mood and fortunes of business across this region. Good luck to the Cats on Saturday. Let’s hope the banners are flying high, from dawn to dark, down at Kardinia Park. And up at the ‘Gabba too.
We’ve also spent time this week preparing for our Annual General Meeting. Applications to join the TGGB Board closed yesterday and we’ve had some really strong candidates apply. There are three skills based positions up for grabs, here are your nominees:
