There’s a lot to be prepared for ahead of Friday, as we move into Phase B of the National Plan. Here is a snapshot of the most useful information, webinars and business support.

Updated Regional Roadmap to Delivering the National Plan:

This clears up an inconsistency between the media release and the roadmap, regarding the vaccination status at venues.

  • Fully vaccinated: Indoors 30 cap, outdoors 100 cap.
  • Unknown vaccination: No change from previous, Indoors 10 cap, outdoors 30 cap.
  • Download Roadmap.

Important Webinars:

Some sectors, including hospitality, will see big changes to their capacities from Friday but with the requirement for all patrons to be fully vaccinated. Here are some useful webinars that will help navigate these changes:

  • Early Learnings From the Vaccinated Economy Trial – There have been some useful learnings from these Trials across the state and business operators will share their insights about how they’ve adapted at a Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) webinar on Thursday 21 October, 11am – 12pmRegister here.
  • Customer Aggression Management Workshop – The switch to patrons being fully vaxxed might present some issues for front line staff in managing this process. VTIC will host a webinar for Managing Aggressive Customers on Tuesday 26th October, 11am-1pm.  Save the date, registrations will be live soon.

Business Support:

  • COVIDSafe Outdoor Activation Voucher Program – The program will provide $2,000 grants to businesses and organisations – including hospitality, retail and other services – to help realise the potential of kerbside trading this summer. Councils will also have access to funding to help activate the outdoors.
